Frequently asked questions

Twelve answers, in the order people ask them. Anything else: info@longstone.it or +39 0935 631113, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

How does ordering work, and how long does it take?

Choose the model and your EU size, add it to the cart and pay. No account is needed. Every pair is then made to order in our factory in Nicosia: estimated delivery is 7-10 days in Italy and 10-14 days in the rest of the EU, production included. These are estimates, not guaranteed dates. Production starts when the payment reaches us; you get an email then, and another with the tracking number when the parcel leaves.

Which size should I order?

We make whole sizes, EU 38 to 48, on every model. Measure your foot in centimetres as explained in the size guide and read the table. If you are between two sizes or unsure, write to us with the measurement, the model and the sock you will wear: we tell you which size to order. A wrong size can be returned within 14 days, return postage at your cost.

Where do you ship, and what does it cost?

To all 27 member states of the European Union, free, with no minimum order. The price on the product page is the price you pay: it includes Italian VAT at 22% and delivery. We do not ship outside the EU, including the United Kingdom, Switzerland and Norway. Parcels travel by courier; the tracking number comes by email when the parcel leaves Nicosia. Details on the Shipping page.

How can I pay?

By card (and, where available in your country, Klarna, Amazon Pay and Link), by PayPal or by bank transfer. Card and PayPal payments are taken at once; your card details never pass through our site.

How does the bank transfer work?

Our IBAN is on the page after the order and in the confirmation email. Transfer the total quoting the order number as the payment reference. An ordinary SEPA transfer takes 1-2 working days; an instant transfer usually arrives the same day. Production starts when the funds are credited, and we email you then. If you change your mind before paying, reply to the confirmation email and we cancel the order: nothing has been charged.

Can I have an invoice with my VAT number?

Yes. At checkout tick “I am buying as a business and need an invoice” and enter your VAT number; Italian businesses also enter the SDI code or PEC for electronic invoicing. The invoice is issued by Saci International Longstone Group S.r.l. Prices on the site include Italian VAT at 22%. Businesses in other EU countries with a valid VAT number: write to us before ordering and we confirm how the invoice is issued.

Can I return the boots?

If you are a consumer, you have 14 days from delivery to withdraw, without giving a reason. Email info@longstone.it with your order number, then send the boots back within 14 days to Saci International Longstone Group S.r.l., C.da Pietralunga s.n.c., 94014 Nicosia (EN), Italy, at your cost. We refund everything you paid, including the standard delivery cost, within 14 days of being told, to the payment method you used. Try the boots on indoors, on a clean floor, as you would in a shop: boots worn outdoors may have the refund reduced. Wrong size: return the pair and place a new order. Details on the Returns and exchanges page.

What guarantee do the boots have?

Every pair is covered by the legal guarantee of conformity for 24 months from delivery. If the boots are defective or not as described, you are entitled to repair or replacement free of charge and, where that is not possible, to a price reduction or a refund. Write to info@longstone.it with the order number, a description of the problem and photographs. Normal wear, damage from use and a chain cut are not conformity defects.

Are the boots certified protective equipment? What is in the box?

The Chainsaw line is personal protective equipment of Category III under Regulation (EU) 2016/425, to EN ISO 17249 (cut protection Level 2 or Level 3) and EN ISO 20345:2022+A1:2024. Hunting and outdoor boots carry no protective standard: they are not PPE, and we say so on every page. In the box of a chainsaw boot you find the instructions for use The technical data sheet is linked on each product page; the Declaration of Conformity of a model is available on request. How to choose the level: Chainsaw protection levels.

How do I look after them?

Brush off mud while it is damp, dry at room temperature away from heat, feed the leather with grease or wax when it looks dry, take the insole out every evening. The care page says how, step by step. Resoling: write to us with photos of the sole.

I am a retailer, a forestry company or a public body. How do I buy?

Trade prices and terms come from the factory. Send a trade inquiry from the Business page, or call us: tell us who you are, where you sell or operate and which lines interest you. We reply with our commercial terms; technical data sheets and Declarations of Conformity are available on request for tenders and procurement.
